There is a new cardiovascular disease prevention project in NHS Lothian which is designed to help GPs identify and manage patients at risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
If you have received a text invite, you have been randomly selected to participate in a Scotland-wide disease prevention project. Please note that this selection is entirely random, and there are no indicators of disease in your case. Please phone 0131 537 4407 and state that you wish to book a CVD appointment.
During your appointment, we will take blood samples and check your blood pressure, height, and weight. Based on the results, you may need a follow-up appointment with a GP to discuss the findings.
Please be assured that these procedures are routine and are conducted to ensure your overall health and well-being.
We appreciate your participation and believe your involvement will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of our community.
